Overview
I am seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join my team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and delivering exceptional customer service. A valid driving licence and experience in commercial driving are essential for this position.
Company uniform provided and must be worn at all times.
Van and fuel provided at my expense.
Responsibilities
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet scheduled deadlines.
- Load and unload items carefully, ensuring the security of cargo during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during interactions with clients.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably within a commercial or logistics environment.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with route planning tools and GPS navigation systems.
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure punctual deliveries.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance records. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving skills and delivering outstanding service while maintaining safety standards at all times.
Pay: £105.00-£115.00 per day
