We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Education Facilitator to join our friendly and supportive team. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging, accessible sessions that help individuals better understand healthy relationships, sexual wellbeing, and personal safety.

A key focus of the role is to help participants:
– develop understanding of the consequences of behaviour through education
– address gaps in knowledge and understanding
– provide early educational intervention to help support positive mental health and wellbeing and reduce escalation of risk
– build skills and confidence to make informed, independent choices
A key requirement is maintaining a supportive, non-directive approach that informs and empowers individuals without directing their choices.
The post holder will deliver pre-designed workshops and sessions to both neurodivergent and neurotypical young people and neurodivergent adults who have engaged in or are at risk of engaging in inappropriate behaviours. They will deliver to individuals and small groups; both face to face and online.
The role also involves delivering workshops for families and professionals to increase understanding of Dhiverse’s work and its impact, as well as contributing to project development groups.
In addition, the post holder will support their line manager in the ongoing development, monitoring, and delivery of education projects.
Key duties for this role
1. Deliver workshops and sessions
2. Assist with regular reviews of the content of sessions
3. Help develop, make, and prepare resources when necessary
4. Liaise with referrers prior the day of the workshop to confirm arrangements
5. Help to promote our projects
6. Build and maintain professional relationships with the organisations we work with
7. Complete monitoring, feedback, and reporting as required by your line manager
You’ll work across a variety of settings, including schools, colleges, learning disability services, housing projects, and from our office in Huntingdon.
