We are seeking a passionate and reliable English Language Teacher to deliver engaging online English lessons to Spanish-speaking students of varying ages and proficiency levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners. This is a paid remote position ideal for educators who are fluent in both Spanish and English and who are committed to helping students build confidence and achieve measurable progress in their language learning journey.

Teachers will be responsible for preparing and delivering one-hour lessons via Zoom, using professionally designed weekly PowerPoint presentations tailored to each student’s level and learning goals. All students and a Zoom subscription are provided by Semántica, allowing teachers to focus entirely on lesson planning, teaching, and student support.

The advertised hourly rate reflects the teacher’s earnings after Semantica’s 12% commission has been deducted.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare weekly one-hour PowerPoint lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced English learners.
• Deliver engaging online English lessons to Spanish-speaking students via Zoom.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Adapt lesson content to suit each student’s age, ability, and learning objectives.
• Provide constructive feedback and track student progress.
• Create a supportive and motivating learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with the Semántica team regarding scheduling and student needs.
