Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our small bespoke team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support and assistance to an individual in need of care.

Must be flexible with working days and includes some weekends.

This role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our client, enabling them to maintain their independence while receiving the necessary support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Support clients with transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate management.

Requirements

A good sense of humour and fun.

Reliability and flexibility essential

Must be a good team player.

• Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred but not essential as full training given.
• Ability to administer medication safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work well in a small team.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is an advantage but not mandatory.
