Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive supervising experience, and proficiency in Primavera P6. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
• Develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor health and safety compliance across all sites, implementing best practices to minimise risks.
• Review project documentation such as drawings, contracts, and permits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and addressing any potential delays or issues.
• Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment necessary for project execution.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven management experience within the construction industry with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.
• Supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling is essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
