Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction
• Ensure all health and safety standards, including food safety regulations, are adhered to during service
• Clear tables efficiently and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods
• Maintain a clean and organised work station throughout shifts
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Address guest inquiries courteously, resolving any concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is valued
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
• Good communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional guest services
• Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
• Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is beneficial but not mandatory
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
