Trade Settlement Analyst – eFinancialCareers Sourcing Services job at London Full Time NEW

Our client, a well-established London-based hedge fund with a strong track record and several years of successful operation, is seeking to hire a Trade Settlement Analyst to join its growing team. This opportunity offers broad exposure across multiple areas of the business within a dynamic and fast-paced investment management environment.

1. Key Responsibilities Perform T0 and T+1 reconciliations across trades, cash, and positions
2. Liaise closely with Prime Brokers and fund administrators to ensure timely resolution of breaks and efficient operational processes
3. Manage corporate action monitoring and election processing
4. Assist in maintaining and enhancing operational infrastructure and portfolio management systems
5. Oversee cash management activities and daily margin monitoring
6. Coordinate with both internal teams and external counterparties to facilitate daily trading operations
7. Support FX share class hedging activities
8. Assist with treasury-related operations
9. Contribute to ongoing improvements across compliance, operational controls, and risk management processes

1. Candidate Requirements Minimum of 3-8 years’ experience within operations or a related middle-office function at a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, asset manager, or investment bank
2. Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment
3. Advanced Excel skills are essential; VBA or other programming knowledge would be advantageous
4. Strong understanding of equities and equity market operations
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a lean team structure
