Part-Time / On-Call Van Driver Wanted – HF Owen Transport

HF Owen Transport & Storage Ltd are looking for a reliable part-time van driver to join our team for sameday and urgent delivery work.

This role would suit someone flexible who is happy to be contacted when work comes in, jump in a van, and get the job done.

Role details:

Position: Part-Time / On-Call Van Driver
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Meal allowance: £5 per shift
Hours: Variable / on-call, typically 0–20 hours per week
Location: HF Owen Transport, Bangor
Work: Sameday / urgent van deliveries

We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable and flexible
Confident driving long distances when required
Professional when dealing with customers
Able to work at short notice
Careful with paperwork and PODs
Physically able to handle parcels and pallets
Happy to work as part of a busy transport team

The role will involve urgent sameday delivery work, handling both parcels and pallets, so we need someone who is careful with freight, understands the importance of keeping moving, updating the office, and sending PODs through as soon as deliveries are completed.

A clean driving licence is preferred.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
