Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. This role involves assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of clients. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
• Administer medication following care plans and protocols
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team
• Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs of each client
• Support clients in engaging with social activities and maintaining their independence
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate client transportation when necessary
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and documentation
• Excellent communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
