We are seeking a proactive and creative Business Development Officer with a strong background in education and apprenticeships. This role requires a dynamic individual who can hit the ground running, think outside the box, and effectively drive apprenticeship business growth. The successful candidate will be based in Stratford and will meet with employers face-to-face, managing a client base across London. This position requires 100% office attendance with no option for remote working.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Drive apprenticeship business growth by bringing through regular learner cohorts to achieve monthly targets of 4–5 cohorts per month.
• Develop and secure new business within key sectors including digital, health and life sciences, professional services, and construction & engineering through targeted sales activity.
• Account manage existing apprenticeship clients while identifying opportunities for upskilling, reskilling, levy utilisation, and wider workforce development solutions.
• Meet with employers face-to-face to discuss and implement training solutions that meet their needs.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and educational requirements to effectively tailor offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of education and apprenticeships.
• Proven ability to develop new business and manage client relationships.
• Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working face-to-face with clients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
