We are an established, close-knit business of 20 employees based in Edinburgh (EH11). We pride ourselves on our friendly workplace, stable environment, and dedicated team. We are now seeking a reliable, organised HR Assistant to support our day-to-day staff administration.
Role Overview
Hours: 20 hours per week.
Schedule: Fixed part-time hours (e.g., Monday to Friday, 9 am – 1 pm).
Location: Office-based / Hybrid options potentially available.
Pay: £28,000 – £32,000 pro rata, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Personnel Files: Maintain accurate, confidential paper and digital staff records.
Recruitment Admin: Post local job adverts and coordinate interview schedules.
New Starters: Prepare offer letters, contracts, and induction checklists.
General Support: Assist management with payroll preparation and holiday tracking.
Requirements
Experience: Proven administrative experience, ideally within an office or HR setting.
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Attributes: High level of discretion, reliability, and attention to detail.
Communication: Professional, polite manner when dealing with staff inquiries.
