Job Title: Labourer

Location: Brownhills, Walsall (WS9 9DL)
Salary: Up to £13-16.00 per hour (depending on experience/tickets)
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary-to-Permanent / Long-term Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and reliable Labourers to work at mainly local commercial sites, including filling stations, with the potential for occasional nights away. This is an immediate start for a hardworking individual experienced in all aspects of civil engineering groundwork, from foundations to final finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Maintenance: Keeping the construction site, welfare facilities, and site offices clean, tidy, and organised daily. Receiving deliveries from suppliers and uploading daily paperwork/tickets.
• Material Handling: Moving, lifting and unloading building materials and tools across the site.
• Assisting Trades: Supporting skilled tradespeople (groundworkers, bricklayers, joiners) to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Site Support: Assisting with setting up temporary structures, digging, mixing concrete, and operating power tools.
• Safety: Adhering to site health and safety procedures, including wearing PPE and reporting hazards to the Site Manager.

Requirements:

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• You are able to get yourself to and from Midland’s base (WS9 9DL).
• Valid CSCS Card (Green Card minimum).
• Previous site experience is preferred.
• Physically fit.
• Own PPE (Hard Hat, High Vis, Safety Boots).
• Site are usually 8:00am – 16:30/17:30 depending on task at hand, meeting at our yard in Brownhills at 6:30am.
• You have your own hand tools (advantageous)
