The Company
Just Tech IT is a nationwide Dental IT systems and support company, based in Leigh, we look after clients across the country acting as an outsourced IT Department.
Role
To suit an enthusiastic, IT Support Technician, who is happy to get involved in all aspects of the job.
Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all customers via phone, email or remote access in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
Log all incidents and requests within the managed service system.
Keep track of ongoing work and pick up incoming work.
Manage, prioritise and plan own work queue and deal with calls within SLAs.
Liaise with 3rd Party Suppliers to resolve issues for our customers.
Monitor and manage the protection of supported systems, including but not limited to RMM, antivirus and backup.
Perform maintenance and upgrades of software and hardware in response to RMM alerts, support tickets and customer needs.
Proactively drive your own workload, have the ability work under own initiative identify and drive through opportunities for improvement/change.
To create and maintain knowledge base articles to enable consistency.
Update and acquire information from clients.
This role may require some travel to customer locations countrywide with overnight stays sometimes at short notice, candidates who do not wish to travel will still be considered.
Requirements
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a positive attitude essential.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to deliver consistently to tight timescales and changing priorities.
Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server, RDP, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Workgroups, Microsoft 365 (Office Apps, SharePoint, One Drive), Dropbox Business, MSP Tools, Terminal services, IPSEC VPN, printing technologies.
Ability to learn new technologies and terminology quickly.
You will have previous experience in a IT Helpdesk role
Full UK driving license preferred.
