Patient Care:
Provide high‑quality, compassionate, patient‑centred care.
Support patients with personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, hydration, and comfort needs.
Promote and preserve patient dignity, independence, and emotional well‑being.
Ensure safe manual handling and adherence to patient safety protocols
Clinical Support:
Perform, record, and report clinical observations, including:
Vital signs (BP, pulse, respirations, temperature)
Blood glucose monitoring
Oxygen saturation
Support the implementation of care plans under the supervision of registered staff.
Team Collaboration
Work closely within the multidisciplinary team (MDT), including nurses, doctors, AHPs, and students.
Participate in handover, ward meetings, and communication processes to ensure continuity of care.
Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture and help promote best practice.
Administration: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
Manage delegated administrative tasks that support smooth ward functioning
