Finance and Accounts Officer job at London Full Time

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Accounts Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the company’s day-to-day client payments and recording procedures.
• Generating invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
• Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly payment updates and reports.
• Processing staff reimbursements and reviewing claims for accuracy.
• Carrying out bookkeeping activities to support effective allocation and management of company resources.
• Keeping records of dispatched invoices, payments received, and outstanding/non-payments.
• Assisting with payroll processing and identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
• Reporting on financial projections, including funding and cash flow forecasts.

Skills

• Proven experience with accounting software will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards

This role is ideal for candidates who are organised, meticulous, and eager to contribute to the financial success of our organisation. Prior experience with recognised accounting software will contribute to smooth integration into our existing processes.

Pay: From £24,420.00 per year
