Welcome to Sonder, your new neighbourhood bistro. This is a new, independent restaurant, based in the Canton / Pontcanna area.

Sonder has a chef owner, who has a passion for hospitality, having worked in professional kitchens for over 13 years. We are looking to add into this small but experienced core team that already exists. We really value having fun at work, and believe the vibe runs through the restaurant and resonates with our guests.

We believe in premium service and ingredients, but are dedicated to making a relaxed and welcoming vibe. All of our food is made in house, alongside in house butchery and baking.

We are looking for someone who has the passion and creativity. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge as well as the opportunity to grow with the company and be at the forefront of all new opportunities that could present themself in the future. It is an amazing chance to learn of some very experienced personalities in our team who can help you if you have ambitions to progress in the hospitality sector.

The bar role with include the following responsibilities;

– Help create and produce inventive and delicious cocktails.

– Work with suppliers to get different wines / new products.

– Help to look after the profitability of the bar and ensure it is consistent in GP %.

– Keeping standards in check on the bar.
