Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries in person or over the phone
• Provide product information, advice on merchandising, and upselling where appropriate
• Handle transactions accurately using the till system, ensuring proper cash handling and receipt issuance
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming sales environment
• Manage stock levels through effective merchandising and organisation of products
• Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment to ensure availability of items
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or suppliers
• Support team members during busy periods by sharing workload efficiently
• Promote special offers and new products to maximise sales opportunities

Qualifications

• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers
• Organised with excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Experience or interest in merchandising and product presentation is preferred
• Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
• Good organisational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store presentation
• Friendly demeanour with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
