We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Duties

• Safely operate delivery vans, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Execute multiple deliveries across various locations within specified timeframes
• Load and unload goods, all of which require heavy lifting and manual handling
• Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery and cash payment in some cases.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or incidents promptly to management
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop routes in a 3.5t van.
• Fleet insurance requires 25 years old and over
• Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is advantageous
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Organised with excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools is preferred
