We are seeking a reliable and professional Full-Time Van Driver to join our team in HP9. Duties

• Safely operate a company van to deliver goods and packages across designated routes in HP9 and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit.
• Plan delivery routes effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients regarding delivery times, delays, or issues that may arise.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety at all times.

Experience

• Proven delivery driver experience, preferably within a commercial or logistics environment.
• Valid driver’s licence suitable for operating vans or similar commercial vehicles.
• Experience with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Warehouse experience is advantageous, especially familiarity with heavy lifting procedures.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving comfortably.
