Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cladder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work confidently across a range of materials and tools. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and flexibility to assist with other construction activities such as steel erection and concrete works.

Key Responsibilities

• Installations using materials such as fibre cement, pollycarbonate, box profile tin & composite panels.
• Install rainwater goods and flashings (with opportunities to take ownership of measurement, design, and ordering of flashings).
• Safely operate access plant machinery.
• Effectively utilise hand and power tools.
• Carry out welding and fabrication tasks when required.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant work environment in line with all health and safety regulations.
• Support wider construction activities including concrete works and steel erection.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in roofing or a related construction trade.
• Good experience using fibre cement cladding is beneficial
• Competence in using roofing-specific hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work safely at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality results.
• Problem-solving ability and the flexibility to work independently or as part of a team.

Additional Information

This role involves travel across central Scotland (Fife, the Lothians, and the Scottish Borders), with occasional projects further afield. Travel and accommodation are provided when required.

Pay: £14.47-£21.95 per hour
