Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and supporting the company’s growth objectives. This executive role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of financial management within a dynamic business environment.

Duties

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Lead the organisation’s financial management team and coordinate cross-departmental collaboration.
• Monitor cash flow, investment activities, and capital structure to optimise financial performance.
• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to finance and accounting.
• Provide strategic advice to the executive team on financial implications of business decisions.
• Establish internal controls to safeguard organisational assets and ensure integrity in financial reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions as required.
• Drive organisational efficiency through effective management of resources and processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in management roles within finance or related fields, ideally at executive level.
• Extensive knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial services industry standards.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and translate them into actionable initiatives.
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
• Relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent recognised professional credentials are preferred.

Pay: £139,833.47-£151,128.07 per year
