We’re seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and proactive person to join our friendly and passionate team. In a Data Input role at Paper Tiger, you will be the backbone of our operational integrity. This role goes beyond simple typing; it requires a blend of speed, analytical precision, and proactive problem-solving. You will manage the lifecycle of our data, from initial entry and validation to audit and discrepancy resolution, ensuring our proprietary systems remain accurate and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

Data Integrity & Precision

• High-Volume Entry: Execute the precise entry of product, pricing, inventory, and transaction data into proprietary systems and web platforms.
• Validation & Formatting: Review all entries for adherence to Paper Tiger’s data standards, ensuring 100% completeness before final submission.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct periodic audits and duplicate checks to maintain a clean database and an error rate below the established Paper Tiger benchmark.

Operational Workflow

• Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and flag anomalies; collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data inconsistencies promptly.
• Asset Management: Organise, edit and approve digital assets (images) received from external partners to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• System Maintenance: Monitor system performance and report technical issues or website bugs to the relevant support teams immediately.

Communication & Compliance

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a point of contact for suppliers and agents via email/phone to verify missing information and update records.
• Confidentiality: Strictly safeguard sensitive business and customer data in compliance with internal privacy policies and industry regulations.
• Collaborative Success: Engage with remote supervisors and QA analysts via Google Meet to ensure seamless workflow and knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record in data entry or administration, ideally within a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, formatting, data cleaning) and familiarity with CRM or ERP platforms.
• Numerical Literacy: Exceptional confidence in handling financial data and complex figures.
• Self-Management: A “remote-first” mindset with the ability to prioritise high-volume workloads without constant supervision.
• Communication: Professional-level written and verbal English.

Core Competencies

• Analytical Mindset: The ability to spot patterns in data that may indicate larger operational issues.
• Reliability: A consistent ability to meet and exceed daily KPIs and data processing targets. Success in this role is measured by data accuracy rates, volume of records processed per shift, and response time to stakeholder inquiries.
• Adaptability: Comfort navigating evolving software tools and shifting business priorities with a positive attitude.

Preferred Experience

• Background in data cleansing or formal data quality initiatives.
• Proficiency in the Google Workspace suite and remote collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with Generative AI platforms for content augmentation and efficiency.
• Basic image editing (cropping, resizing, and color correction) to meet web display standards.

• Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace for stakeholder calls.
• Ability to work business hours to ensure real-time collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
