About the job:
The holder of this post is responsible to drive, form up and shunt stock within the defined depot limits and as directed.
You will adhere to depot protection, safety, quality and environmental procedures, rules and regulations in force.
You will be responsible to the Movements Manager/Depot Manager.

About the location:
Bournemouth Depot is home to a number of South Western Railway’s fleet. The engineering team at the depot are currently responsible for numerous projects such as the major component overhaul work on the 159 fleet, the Desiro repaint on the class 444’s and 450’s and the latest modification project on our exciting new Arterio fleet that is set to transform travel on our suburban routes by offering customers much faster and more reliable journeys!
Working pattern:
Working an average of 35 hours over 4 days
Roster consisting of days and nights including the following turns:
1800-0300
0900-1800
2100-0600
0700-1600
The Reward:
£31,140 during training, rising to £48,904 once fully qualified, plus regional allowance of £2,546 per annum.
