We are looking for an organised and proactive Finance & Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of finance and operational administration within our growing remote team.

This is a varied role supporting finance processes, compliance administration, onboarding administration, operational systems, and general business support.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily bank reconciliations
• Sales and purchase ledger support
• Credit control and payment chasing
• Invoice processing and finance administration
• Managing finance and shared inboxes
• Maintaining accurate finance records and spreadsheets
• Supporting onboarding and compliance administration
• Assisting with operational reporting and data management
• Supporting process improvements and operational projects
• Maintaining accurate records across company systems

Essential Experience & Skills

• Previous finance or accounts administration experience
• Experience with reconciliations, invoice processing, credit control, or ledger support
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage workload independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working remotely and managing priorities independently

Desirable

• Xero experience
• Experience within education, apprenticeships, or training
• AAT qualification or studies
• Experience supporting compliance or operational administration
• SharePoint or CRM experience
