Are you motivated by the opportunity to support, challenge and inspire others to achieve the very best outcomes for young children?
As part of our continued commitment to investing in early years provision across Bridgend, we are strengthening the capacity of our Early Years and Childcare Team. You will bring substantial experience of delivering high-quality early years education, including supporting children with emerging needs and Additional Learning Needs (ALN). You will also be able to clearly evidence the positive impact of your leadership on the professional development and practice of colleagues.
Excellent communication skills are key, alongside diplomacy, credibility and approachability, as the role requires building strong, trusting professional relationships while maintaining appropriate challenge.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in:
Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Welsh language skills and supporting bilingual development
The teaching and development of early literacy
If you bring strength in one or more of these areas, we would especially welcome your application.
