Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Vocational Tutor to deliver high-quality adult education programmes across a range of vocational subjects.

The successful candidate will support learners in developing practical skills, employability knowledge, and confidence to progress into further training or employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching across vocational courses (e.g. customer service, business support, employability skills, and related areas)
• Plan and prepare lessons, schemes of work, and assessment materials in line with curriculum standards
• Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate learner records
• Support learners in achieving qualifications and progressing into employment or further study
• Embed English, communication, and employability skills within teaching
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment

Requirements

• Teaching qualification
• Relevant vocational qualification(s) in business, customer service, or related fields
• Experience delivering adult education or vocational training
• Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to supporting learner achievement and progression
