Accountant – London job at London Full Time

We are seeking a reliable and analytical Accountant to manage day-to-day financial activities and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax requirements
• Prepare VAT returns and support external audits
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (hospitality industry experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of UK financial regulations and tax procedures

Pay: £64,420.00-£88,270.77 per year
