Job Description:
Justteachers is seeking a Maths Teacher who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Nelson area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence from September 2026. The school are looking at meeting with candidates ASAP to shortlist for the role. A vibrant and diverse school known for its energetic learning culture and commitment to academic progress. Staff are supported by strong leadership, and pupils are encouraged to aim high through a mix of challenge, encouragement and enrichment opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
- Teaching Maths to KS3/KS4 classes
- Preparing pupils for GCSE Maths assessments
- Tracking progress and adapting teaching accordingly
- Creating a supportive environment for numeracy development
Requirements:
- UK secondary school experience
- Strong mathematical subject knowledge
- Ability to teach mixed-ability groups
- Familiarity with UK curriculum requirements
