Site Match UK is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Traffic Marshall / Labourer to join a busy construction project in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a well-managed site, supporting daily operations while ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and directing vehicle movements safely around site
- Banking delivery vehicles and plant machinery
- Assisting with general labouring duties as required
- Supporting site logistics and material deliveries
- Maintaining site security and controlling access points
- Ensuring pedestrian and vehicle routes remain safe and clear
- Following traffic management plans and site safety procedures
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and hazard-free
- Working closely with site management to maintain efficient site operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall, Banksman, or Labourer on construction sites
- Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman qualification
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- CAT & Genie ticket preferred
- Good understanding of site safety procedures and traffic management protocols
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
- Own PPE and high-visibility clothing preferred
