Resuscitation Officer
0.9 WTE Band 6 (33 hours)
An exciting opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly motivated registered practitioner to join NHS Lothian’s Resuscitation Team to train and support staff working across NHS Lothian’s acute and primary care settings.
Our dedicated Resuscitation training facility at St Johns where this post will be based has recently been incorporated into a newly designed and refurbished education suite including full simulation and debrief facilities, sim ward, numerous additional breakout and clinical skills rooms including wellbeing space.
You will have excellent communication and time management skills, previous experience in education, supporting students and staff in practice and have experience in treating the deteriorating sick patient with extensive knowledge of an A-E assessment and SBARD.
This post requires the post holder to have Adult and Child PVG Scheme membership. If the post holder is not a current member, then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
