Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the sales team to meet and exceed sales objectives, fostering a motivated and productive work environment
• Organise daily store operations, including staffing schedules, stock management, and visual merchandising
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional development and performance improvement
• Monitor sales performance through analysing reports and implementing strategies to optimise results
• Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of phone etiquette, communication skills, and organisational efficiency
• Manage administrative tasks such as inventory control, sales records, and reporting to senior management
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff members
• Promote a positive shopping experience by ensuring the store is well-presented and fully stocked with relevant merchandise
• Collaborate with management on promotional activities and merchandising strategies to attract customers

Skills

• Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams within a retail or sales environment
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Demonstrated organisational skills with effective time management capabilities
• Experience in sales management, merchandising, and retail operations
• Administrative experience including record keeping and reporting procedures
• Proficient in managing phone etiquette and delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills with an aptitude for problem-solving within a busy setting
