Reporting to the Senior Assistant Head of Education for Inclusion, this important role is an opportunity to support school Leaders in the strategic development of whole school ALN and inclusion systems and practices, where all pupils are fully included and make good progress in learning.
This position is a diverse, demanding and rewarding leadership role. You will be a strong leader with professional credibility and significant experience working in one or more statutory education phases (age 3-11/11-16).
Candidates must have worked across a local authority or region in a leadership role in the last year. You will be responsible for achieving successful outcomes with mainstream and special schools across the city linked to professional learning, the quality assurance of specialist provision which meets the needs of all learners, commissioning new provision, developing EOTAS and leading local authority teams teams specialising in Behaviour, Early Years, statutory ALN functions and advisory work. Previous experience of influencing and impacting a range of educational settings is essential.
