We are currently seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join our client’s team on a contract basis in London. This is an opportunity to support a large-scale programme within the education sector, contributing to the design and delivery of scalable solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. If you enjoy hands-on development, working closely with stakeholders, and delivering practical outcomes, this could be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Power Platform Development: Strong experience across Power Apps (including model-driven apps), Power Automate, portal pages, solutions, and plugins.

• Security Configuration: Experience designing and implementing complex, role-based security models within Power Apps.

• Full Stack Development: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and C#, supporting both front-end and back-end development.

• Integration: Experience integrating with third-party services using APIs.

• Azure DevOps: Familiar with managing development pipelines and deployments.

• Data Management: Solid understanding of SQL, database design, and data modelling.

• Documentation: Ability to produce clear functional specifications and technical solution design documents.

Key Expectations

• Agile Delivery: Contribute to incremental, iterative delivery within an agile environment.

• Collaboration: Work closely with existing squads and stakeholders to align on delivery.

• Stakeholder Management: Communicate clearly and proactively across technical and non-technical teams.

• Hands-On Development: Actively contribute to development, including pair programming with junior team members.

• Quality Assurance: Test solutions, identify issues, and resolve defects.

• User Support: Provide support during hypercare to ensure a smooth transition into business use.

• Documentation: Maintain strong documentation to support long-term sustainability and handover.

Contract Details

• Day Rate: £500 per day

• IR35 Status: Outside IR35

• Location: Greater London

• Onsite Requirement: Yes, non-negotiable

• Start Date: Mid to end of July

• Interview Timeline: Late June
