We are a growing Scottish hospitality company with a recent opening in the polmont. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivery exceptional hospitality. As a server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, recommending dishes, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any queries they may have. A passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
• Knowledgeable on steaks and wines, or the ability to learn quickly.
• Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards.
• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to work well under pressure.
