Front of House Team Member – Part-Time job at Manchester Full Time NEW

A growing indie restaurant bringing the flavours of South Africa to the Northern Quarter. Chakalaka is looking for new team members to help serve up a taste of the Cape and join the fun and friendly team we already have at this Oldham Street spot.

Our menu includes everything from boerewors sausages to monkey gland sauce and we’re looking for a vibrant and committed individual to join the team. New team members need not have specific restaurant experience as full on the job training will be provided but able to demonstrate they can work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, while also being punctual and friendly, with a passion for the delivering great service.

Our team members will need to bring their personality to the role, to deliver the top quality service that Chakalaka provides to our customers every day. Successful candidates will learn a variety of roles within the business including working on the bar and waiting roles. There is also room for progression within the role as the business goes from strength to strength.

Chakalaka is an independent restaurant and bar that has grown a lot since we opened back in 2018, and our close-knit team work alongside one another to deliver great flavours and good vibes in a bustling and accessible atmosphere.

Due to the nature of the role relating to the sale of alcohol we do require that applicants are 18 or over, able to work and commute late nights including evenings and weekends, and are Manchester based throughout the year both in and out of term-time.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
