Job description:

Creative e-Learning Writer: We’re looking for an experienced freelance writer to work alongside our in-house production team. You’ll be working with some of the best in the business, writing and creating e-learning content for our training courses. While the focus is primarily on learning, we’re stupendously creative, too! So you’ll get the opportunity to flex those imagineering skills when you help bring our e-learning products to life. Your main duties will include:

• Scriptwriting e-learning courses with topics ranging from health & safety to safeguarding, cybersecurity, and more!
• Screenplay writing for animation (full support and training given)
• Reviewing and editing written content
• Reviewing (sense checking) storyboards and animations
• Supporting the wider Production Team in the development of storyboards and animations
• Version control and keeping copy up to date/amended when needed
• Marketing copy as required by the business

You must have:

• At least three years as a professional writer
• Broad portfolio
• Editing and reviewing experience and a keen eye for detail
• Creative writing experience
• Excellent knowledge of word processing packages including MS Word and Google Docs
• Excellent research and communication skills
• Excellent command of English, grammar, and punctuation
• The ability to switch styles, tone and voice. You MUST be adaptable.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
• Impeccable time management and communication skills
• Demonstrable storytelling abilities

It’d be nice (but not essential) if you have:

• Degree level education or above
• Experience as a screenplay writer for 2D animation
• Experience specifically writing e-learning content
• Experience writing for voice overs
• Some experience of comms and project management software such as Slack and Asana
