Capital City College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled Hourly Paid Lecturer in British Sign Language to join our dedicated London-based team.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join as an Hourly Paid Lecturer in British Sign Language. Whether you’re an experienced educator, or a native BSL user who is starting their teaching career, there’s a place for you at CCC.
As an hourly paid lecturer, you will:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching sessions that support learners to achieve their goals
- Share your knowledge and real-world insights to help learners develop their skills and understanding
- Adapt your teaching to meet diverse learner needs

About You
We’re looking for a passionate and committed individual with:
- Proven experience in delivering British Sign Language at Level 1 and Level 2
- Strong knowledge of the Signature BSL qualifications at Level 1 and Level 2
- Excellent planning, organisation, and classroom management skills
- A commitment to inclusive, learner-focused teaching
- A recognised teaching qualification (or a willingness to achieve one)
You should be confident in delivering to a diverse range of learners and ready to inspire them to achieve their full potential.
