Senior Accountant – HFG job at London Full Time NEW

I’m working with a leading global insurance organisation looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their London finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate books and records, supporting both internal and external reporting requirements, and upholding a strong financial control framework.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review journals, reconciliations, and financial reports
* Deliver accurate month-end and financial reporting activities
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Maintain and enhance financial controls and SOX compliance
* Assist with internal and external audit requirements
* Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business
* Support finance transformation and systems implementation projects
* Analyse financial data and provide meaningful business insights

Requirements:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Strong accounting and financial reporting experience
* Insurance, Lloyd’s, or London Market experience preferred
* US GAAP exposure advantageous
* FP&A experience beneficial
* Experience with finance systems and transformation projects
