Duties

• Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to quality standards.
• Assist customers with their orders in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
• Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills

• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
• Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
• Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic food preparation skills to assist with various café offerings.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
