Job Summary

Parts Plus Llangefni is looking to recruit a reliable and professional Driver for the North Wales Region.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Driver is the face of our business, and they are responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Parts and providing excellent service to Customers. The Llangefni Parts Plus Centre is the parts distribution hub serving Ford dealers and independent garages throughout North Wales. This role requires good organisational skills and the ability to navigate efficiently across various routes. The position offers an opportunity to utilise your driving expertise in a dynamic environment while contributing to our company’s reputation for outstanding service.

Duties

• Deliver Parts to Customers efficiently and ensuring accuracy throughout North Wales
• Gain authorised signatures and printed names from Customers for all Parts delivered
• Complete the Van Sales Delivery logs
• Ensure the Van is loaded correctly and safely
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries or pickups
• Maintain accurate records of journeys, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance checks
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
• Assist with loading and securing cargo as required
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules or delays
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during driving duties,
• Drive in a safe and courteous manner within the law
• Requirements
• Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type held for a minimum of 1 year
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude, the ability to speak Welsh is an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Clean driving record with no recent endorsements or penalties
• Nice-to-have: familiarity with GPS navigation systems and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
