Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 18-ton Rigid C2 Tramper Driver to join our team on a full-time basis in Blackburn.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a C2 Rigid 18T Tramper vehicle across designated routes in and around Blackburn.
• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure placement on the flatbed.
• Conduct pre-journey safety checks on the vehicle before each trip.
• Deliver goods to clients or distribution centres in a timely manner, adhering to schedules.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with clients and dispatch teams.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during operations.
• Ensure the vehicle remains clean and well-maintained throughout daily duties.

Requirements

• Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving, specifically for C2 Rigid 18T vehicles.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with similar vehicles.
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning.
• Self-motivated with a professional attitude towards customer service and safety standards.
• Flexibility to work independently as a self-employed contractor, managing own schedule effectively.
