We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Accountant specialising in Global Cash management. The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash flow processes, and supporting the organisation’s financial management strategies. Duties

• Manage and oversee global cash transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and receipts.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, maintaining precise records within various accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other specialised financial management software.
• Monitor cash flow levels across multiple regions, providing detailed reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and international accounting standards.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to cash accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise cash utilisation and minimise financial risks.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in financial accounting practices and software applications.
• Ensure adherence to organisational policies regarding financial controls and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial accounting within a global or multinational organisation.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial services industry practices and cash management processes.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated mentoring abilities to support team development initiatives.
• Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and general financial management principles.
• Relevant qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are preferred but not essential.

Pay: £44,000.00 per year
