Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a passion for charity customer service.

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries.
• Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers.
• Handle transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling and till operations.
• Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Will need to be able carry stock and donations up and down 2 flights of stairs.
• Confident and able to work alone at times and or with volunteers.
• Working hours will be between Monday – Sunday and you will need to be flexible.

Experience

• Previous experience in charity retail or sales is mandatory.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
