Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide essential assistance to individuals with disabilities. The role involves supporting clients in their daily activities, fostering independence, and ensuring their well-being within a caring environment. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and household tasks
• Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families
• Support clients in participating in community activities, outings, and social events
• Provide transportation as needed, including driving clients to appointments or activities
• Monitor and document clients’ progress, behaviours, and any changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support
• Maintain a safe and clean environment that promotes the health and safety of clients
• Engage children in developmental activities tailored to their needs and interests

Skills

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, families, and team members
• Ability to develop and follow care plans accurately and compassionately
• Good IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
• Valid driving licence for transportation duties
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
• Organised approach to managing multiple responsibilities within a supportive environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.71-£15.50 per hour
