About Sticks & Cones

Sticks & Cones is a high-quality, ingredient-led independent ice cream shop opening in Marylebone in early June. We create artisan ice cream and ice lollies made from scratch on-site, using carefully sourced ingredients including locally sourced dairy, 100% fruit purées and premium nut pastes. Sticks & Cones will also have a strong coffee and tea programme. Everything we serve is made with attention to detail and a respect for craft. We believe in simple flavours executed exceptionally well, transparency in ingredients, and thoughtful sustainability in how we source, produce and operate.

We are looking for ice cream servers with some experience to help open the shop and serve the first scoops to the public.

Our goal is not only to make excellent ice cream, but to bring joy to people — and to build something we are proud of together.

Ice Cream Servers

What you’ll do

• Deliver efficient and friendly customer service
• Take orders and handle payments via POS system
• Prepare and serve drinks, ice cream, sundaes etc. consistently to a high standard and portioning guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace and shop floor
• Liaise with kitchen on ice cream availability and shortages
• Restock supplies and communicate any shortage and/or issues to GM
• Follow food and health and safety procedures including allergen
• Assist customers with recommendations and upsell add ons

Experience

• 1 year in hospitality or customer service facing role
• Experience working with ice cream preferred but not essential
• We are keen to receive applications for more experienced staff who could take on shift supervision roles.

Working Hours

• Part time 2-3 days of availability required, must be able to work 2 peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday)
• Full Time 30-40hours, 4-5 days a week, must be able to work 2 peak days (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
• Must be able to work until 11pm
• Closed Mondays except Bank Holidays
• Ready to start work as early as 28 May – we are recruiting for seasonal staff for June, July and August as well as permanent staff.

Pay: Starting at London Living Wage, commensurate with experience
