Assistant Youth Support Worker
Early Help – Education and Children’s Services
Location: Various across Lancashire
Salary: £24,121 – £26,341 (pro-rata) Qualified | £23,496 – £23,825 (pro-rata) Unqualified
Grade: JNC 7–10 (Qualified) | JNC 5–6 (Unqualified) – NVQ/RVQ 2 minimum – Locally recognised JNC Qualification in Youth and Community Work (If you hold this qualification, you must complete it within a set time and will start on the trainee scale)

Passion for Youth Work – You care deeply about improving life chances for young people. You’ll help create safe spaces where they can develop their identity, build confidence, and feel valued.
Engagement – You’ll work alongside Youth Workers to deliver exciting programmes and projects that tackle real issues such as health, lifestyle, relationships, and community engagement.
Role Model – You’ll demonstrate positive behaviours, patience, and resilience, inspiring young people to make positive choices and thrive.
What You’ll Do…
Work flexibly, including evenings and occasional weekends, to meet the needs of young people.
