Temporary Delivery Driver/ Drivers Mate job at Welshpool Full Time NEW

We are looking for a person to join our transport team on a temporary contract with an immediate start if possible. The contract will run through this year until the start of January. At the end of the contract we will assess business needs and there is a high possibility the contract will be made permanent. The job is for a delivery person driving in a 3.5t van and occasionally being a drivers mate on the HGV’s. As a van driver you will be given full training and will load your own van and deliver to trade and private customers across Wales and parts of West England and the Midlands. As a drivers mate you will help the driver load a lorry and help deliver to our larger trade accounts. Both jobs will involve delivering wine, beers, minerals and kegs up to the large 11g kegs weighing 65KG. We provide full training on keg work and cellar deliveries on your own. Warehouse work is also part of the job. Hours of work are 8am-5pm at 41.25 hours per week although as it gets busier earlier starts are expected. Any overtime is paid at time and a half.
