We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to determine colour schemes and design preferences.
• Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the organisation of materials and tools needed for each project.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding progress or any issues encountered during work.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is preferred.
• Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation between sites.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure precise application of finishes.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings.
• Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks including climbing ladders, working at heights, and handling materials.

Pay: £160.00-£200.00 per day
