Skilled Ground Worker job at Middlesbrough Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ground Worker to join our construction team, We are constructing 15 new build bungalows and require someone with an overall understanding and skill set in the below.

Foundations – Drainage – Block and beam floors – Fencing – Curbing – stoning up etc…

NOTE: Random drug tests are part of out HSE plan and will be asked randomly of all workers.

Duties

• Assisting with excavation, trenching, and site preparation activities
• Operating basic hand tools and machinery.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the work site
• Supporting the installation of groundwork components such as drainage systems, fencing, or paving
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely

Experience

• Previous experience in ground work, construction,.
• Ability to operate basic tools and machinery is desirable
• Good physical fitness and stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
• Valid UK driving licence.
