Construction Operations Manager job at North London Full Time

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our construction projects and ensure they are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating resources, liaising with clients, and ensuring smooth operational delivery across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities across multiple projects.
• Coordinate site managers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Review project programmes and schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved.
• Monitor budgets, resource allocation, and materials procurement.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress, quality, and safety.
• Liaise with clients, architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
• Support the planning and handover phases of each project.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
• Lead and motivate site teams to achieve company objectives and uphold standards.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in a construction management or operations management role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site management, and building regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong focus on health & safety and quality control.
• Full UK driving licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £200.00-£220.00 per day
